On February 27, 2016 — the annual Bacon and Beer Classic is coming back to Santa Clara’s Levi Stadium. What — a football stadium filled with bacon and beer lovers, and breweries, restaurants and cooks featuring BACON AND BEER?

What is the best food event to attend in the Bay Area?

The event is called Bacon and Beer Classic. I mean, let’s be frank: there is no better name for an event, and very few (if any) better food and drink combinations in the world.

OK, I'm interested. But how much are the tickets? A food-and-drink-extravaganza can't be cheap!

It’s not cheap, but with a ticket, it’s a free-for-all when it comes to food and beer. And I have good news! I wouldn’t leave you hanging like that–I’ve secured a discount code of 20% off for you, and that’s off of any level of tickets.

Wait, I thought you don't like attending food events and hosted dinners?

I don’t. I really don’t.

But one, and I repeat, it’s BACON AND BEER….even I cave to those enticing things. and two, I have the good fortune of judging this event.
You know what that means?

That means I will be eating and drinking EVERY SINGLE THING at this event.

But with any level ticket, you get the same opportunity to taste as many or as little as you want.

What’s Included with Your Bacon and Beer Classic Ticket Purchase

At Bacon and Beer Classic, all levels of tickets include access to all the bacon-related food (over 30 different dishes!) and over 100 craft beers for a full three hours. So, a general admission ticket will get you the same unlimited food that a VIP level ticket would. If you’re someone who can actually eat for 3.5 hours–and insist on that extra half hour, then early admission tickets are for you.

But if the event is more about beer than bacon for you, then the VIP Tickets are ideal for you as you get all of the above and one hour early early, access to the VIP area and more craft beers available to you than the General Admission tickets get.

Plus, and maybe best of all–you can skip the lines!

I can’t wait to see what these chefs and cooks will be presenting at the event, and if you know me, you know I’ll most certainly be taking a chug of every single beer at the event.

Tickets for Bacon and Beer Classic 2016

Tickets are available for purchase HERE from now to the day of the event. The San Francisco Food promo/discount code is already included if you use that link–but if you’re on the regular Eventbrite page for the Bacon and Beer Classic 2016 ticket purchase, then use SFFOOD to get the 20% discount being offered on this site.

But wait–that’s not all! (I sound like an infomercial…which makes me now want to say, “If you order in the next 30 minutes…”)

As mentioned, there’s a lot –a LOT–of beer at this event. While it’s not dangerous to drive home on a stomach full of bacon, doing so with a tummy full of beer is not conducive to a long and happy life.
