copyright (Mobile)If you’re looking to use our content, we’re flattered. At San Francisco Food, we spend a considerable amount of time writing and taking photographs — more than the time we do eating or cooking on a daily basis. Therefore, we do take copyright seriously.

We’ve had restaurants take our images and use it for their marketing copy, or their advertisements. This is not okay. Copyright belongs to the creator from the moment of creation — and the photo or content being of YOUR food or cooking doesn’t make it yours.

However, on our site, we often need to use other people’s images as well and we do acquire written permission before doing so if at all possible, or unless it’s a stock image we’ve purchased —  and do understand that you might want to use an image or a review on this site for your own purposes, use the form below to ask us first.

At any given point, the copyright to the content and images on this site belong only to San Francisco Food, and remain as the intellectual property of Grace Keh, unless otherwise expressed. Some of our images were taken by other photographers and require permission from them. Some of our photographs are stock photos we purchased. None of these images are to be used without permission from the creator.
